We have the Di*it**e call blocker on all our phone lines.
The Di*it**e is unique in that we can block entire area codes as well as full telephone numbers.
Currently, we have over 210 area codes blocked.
This number has never called us before but because we have the ENTIRE 720 AREA CODE BLOCKED, no matter what number they call from, THEIR CALLS CANNOT RING THROUGH!
OUR PHONES DO NOT RING AND OUR HOME IS NOT DISTURBED BY THEIR CALLS!
Please purchase a call blocking phone or device - they work and they are inexpensive
Caller ID showed "Colorado number." I don't know anybody there, so didn't answer. No message left. Glad to see reports here that it's yet another credit card scam I can ignore. Sure wish there was some way to stop the robocalls. Since the first of this year, I've had more than a HUNDRED calls from various numbers. Don't answer any of them, but they never seem to stop.
I rarely get these any more since I discovered *78. Costs nothing. No numbers to input. No storage limit. Autodialers simply are unable to press the code leave a message. I've gone from 5-6 spam calls a day to 2-3 a week. I never answer unknown numbers. Never. The slaves that man the lines have no ability to remove you and won't anyway. As has been pointed out these people are criminals and don't give a cold shite about you. If you can't resist answering the phone - some people can't - keep them on the line as long as possible. Let them go through the whole spiel, then ask questions about how things work. Ask anything even if it doesn't make sense. Tell them about your bad health and the washing machine is broken. The game is to waste their time. The phone slaves have to make quotas. The more you tie them up the fewer they make. Then they get fired and new slaves take their places. When you have had enough ask if it's free and whatever they say just hang up.
