Well, even after I posted last I continued to receive phone calls from this company. Vented on the registry, actually had these guys call me at past 8 in the evening one time. I did find out that the company I got my home loan with had released my personal information and if I wanted my personal information kept to myself then I had to call a phone number to get taken off the list. They don't tell you this until 6 months after the fact and hundreds of harassing phone calls later! Since I removed my personal information from any lists (that I know of at the moment), I have not received a call from the Mortgage Inv again. It's still a bunch of bull that I have to spell it out that I want my private info kept as that, private.
When I finally called the number back, it was "Mortgage Investors". I asked to remove my number from their database, and they said they will. Time will tell.
Called my house numerous times for someone who has not had this number for 2 years. Asked them to tak my number off the list. So we will see if they stop.
numerous prank calls to my home 2-7 times a day all hours of the day, i let it go to voicemail they leave no message.How can I get them to stop harrassing me? its ridiculous!!!!!
Called the house about 1:20pm on Good Friday and asked for me by my full name. They identified themselves as Amerigroup Mortgage and mentioned something about my VA loan. I interrrupted him and asked if I had done business with them before. He said "You may have." I then told him this phone call was illegal and to not call me again and hung up on him.
