Well, even after I posted last I continued to receive phone calls from this company. Vented on the registry, actually had these guys call me at past 8 in the evening one time. I did find out that the company I got my home loan with had released my personal information and if I wanted my personal information kept to myself then I had to call a phone number to get taken off the list. They don't tell you this until 6 months after the fact and hundreds of harassing phone calls later! Since I removed my personal information from any lists (that I know of at the moment), I have not received a call from the Mortgage Inv again. It's still a bunch of bull that I have to spell it out that I want my private info kept as that, private.
I have received a call from this number multiple times a day an hour apart. I have no idea who they are or how they got my phone number. I don't use my house phone, I don't even know the number. Next time they call I'm going to answer to see who they are.
Have received 2-3 calls a day from this number for the past 2 months. Myself and my wife have both asked them to remove us from their list and to stop calling us to no avail. We have even told them we are not on the do not call registry. But, they keep calling, each time we tell them to take us off the list and stop calling and they apologize for the incovenience and say we are taking you off the list. then next the calls come again.
They still keep calling ...I wait until I can complaint at the National Do Not call registry ( https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx ), let see if this system works.
I am signed up for the donotcall registry but this company, Mortgage Investors, keep calling!!!! I had a conversation with them on monday the 14th of July about how happy I was with my current mortgage and they wished me good day and I thought that would be it. They have continued to call me every day since. I reported them on the 15th and 16th of July through the registry, don't know what else to do since nothing seems to work for these roaches of soliciters. I hope the registry does something about this. Before I signed up on the registry I would receive 3-4 soliciter calls a day!! I believe it was from whoever had the number before us since the calls started the day we got the phone turned on. Since signed up on the registry we only have this Mortgage company calling us. We will see......
