Well, even after I posted last I continued to receive phone calls from this company. Vented on the registry, actually had these guys call me at past 8 in the evening one time. I did find out that the company I got my home loan with had released my personal information and if I wanted my personal information kept to myself then I had to call a phone number to get taken off the list. They don't tell you this until 6 months after the fact and hundreds of harassing phone calls later! Since I removed my personal information from any lists (that I know of at the moment), I have not received a call from the Mortgage Inv again. It's still a bunch of bull that I have to spell it out that I want my private info kept as that, private.
Try this submit one of these forms and it should help. If your are not on the no call list do that first. Next time they call you ask fo the adress from them or look them up on line.
I have a private number and am on the do not call list. I have received 42 phone calls from this company in the last 30 days. I have asked every time to be taken off of their list. Each time, the fine folks at this company indicate they will do so, and it should take 48-72 hours to activate (depending on the representative). Here we are on day 31, and I just received the 43rd phone call.
These clowns have called 11 times in 11 days and I've asked them to take me off the list. They either hang up or are very rude. One clown even kept telling me he'd take me off the list if I told them how much I owed on the house. They won't take you off the list regardless. They've called twice today since I asked them to take me off the list.
