Well, even after I posted last I continued to receive phone calls from this company. Vented on the registry, actually had these guys call me at past 8 in the evening one time. I did find out that the company I got my home loan with had released my personal information and if I wanted my personal information kept to myself then I had to call a phone number to get taken off the list. They don't tell you this until 6 months after the fact and hundreds of harassing phone calls later! Since I removed my personal information from any lists (that I know of at the moment), I have not received a call from the Mortgage Inv again. It's still a bunch of bull that I have to spell it out that I want my private info kept as that, private.
Calls 2 times a day, even though I asked to be taken off the list. Asks for my husband, then when I say he is not available and request that they stop calling, they just hang up.
They call my house 2 to 6 times a day. I ask them to take me off their list and they say they will every time, but continue on saying they aren't trying to sell me anything and want to explain blah blah blah and I usually end up hanging up on them. But they still call back and they also call for my husband and he has asked them to take us off their list as well, but still the phone calls persist! This is harassment...what can we do?
I am going through everything that you all have said about the VA mortgage number. They have also called me in the morning and in late night hours. I have told them several times to not call me anymore. I have also heard laughter in the back ground when I told them to STOP CALLING ME!!! I want to know if there is something I can do legally. If anyone call tell me please get back with me with this information. Thank you.
We've received several phone calls from Mortgage Investors. The latest being 2 calls tonight, the latter at 8 pm. I answered the second time and asked them to remove me from their call list, which they agreed. I looked them up on the BBB on-line and they have an "A" rating on the BBB reliability report. Everyone that feels harassed by this company needs to REPORT THEM TO YOUR LOCAL BBB to truly get some relief and results. The BBB has them listed as:

The more of you report them, the better the chances that they will cease their ignored and irritating phone calls. Just Google BBB and your city name. Believe me, I know people that work for the BBB and if there are enough legitimate complaints about a company, it does make a difference.
