Well, even after I posted last I continued to receive phone calls from this company. Vented on the registry, actually had these guys call me at past 8 in the evening one time. I did find out that the company I got my home loan with had released my personal information and if I wanted my personal information kept to myself then I had to call a phone number to get taken off the list. They don't tell you this until 6 months after the fact and hundreds of harassing phone calls later! Since I removed my personal information from any lists (that I know of at the moment), I have not received a call from the Mortgage Inv again. It's still a bunch of bull that I have to spell it out that I want my private info kept as that, private.
I also asked them to stop calling my parents house, and yet they continue to call. This last time the woman had the nerve to cut me off and hang up in my face.
I have lost count of how many times I have asked these people to stop calling. (my home phone) They just called my cell phone at 9:30 pm. You can register on the following link but you have to be in the data base for 31 days before you can file a complaint.

I keep getting calls from these guys... caller ID shows: 727-344-6293, and 727-347-1930, and 866-812-6662. All numbers come back to Mortgage Investors Corporation in St. Petersburg, FL.
Everytime they call I ask them to stop... They still keep calling.
Don't know how they got my number.
Looked up the company with the Better Business Bureau - 90+ complaints!!!
LOOKS LIKE THESE GUYS ARE RUNNING SOME KIND OF SCAM.
They call at all hours of the day, when I answer they hang up, when I don't answer, they don't leave a message.
Finally called them back today and asked them to stop calling. We'll see if it works
We have been getting up to 5 cold calls per day, 7 days a week, from this company. They fill up our voicemail with empty messages. I finally had enough and decided to do something about it.
Step 1) If you haven't already done so, enter your number into the national do not call list at https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx
Step 2) File a complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/

Step 3) Call them back at 727-344-6293 and tell them that you have already filed a formal complaint with the FTC. Then proceed to tell them that you will have to report them to the Better Business Bureau if they keep calling you back. Wait for the back pedaling to ensue.
After telling Matt the above information, he very promptly and respectfully asked for my phone number and entered it into their do not call database and told me that it would take 24-48 hours for it to process.
