Well, even after I posted last I continued to receive phone calls from this company. Vented on the registry, actually had these guys call me at past 8 in the evening one time. I did find out that the company I got my home loan with had released my personal information and if I wanted my personal information kept to myself then I had to call a phone number to get taken off the list. They don't tell you this until 6 months after the fact and hundreds of harassing phone calls later! Since I removed my personal information from any lists (that I know of at the moment), I have not received a call from the Mortgage Inv again. It's still a bunch of bull that I have to spell it out that I want my private info kept as that, private.
I found out how to literally shut them down if we all work toghether. I spent all day yesterday calling 727-344-6239 and started trying to recruite them to join my Amyway, Tuperware, MaryKay, Herbalife... downline. I just kept calling and calling... Funny thing is there seem to only be a small handful of people working in the room. Most of my calls were answered by Johnathan, Matt or Erin. They were definately not happy with these calls. If we all start inundating them with a reversed telemarketing campaign and soliciate them to do business with us they will not have time doing their own business. They were practically begging me to let them take my name off of the list...
They called many times since we had our home landline changed.I used my phone feature to block this number everytime they call, til finally got tired of their ringing.I decided to call them back and someone mentioned about contacting Veterans of something and I said no, and asked politely to remove my number from their calling list. He said yes...Let's just wait and see...
I had this happen to me recently on a 727 area code, different number for the rest of it.
And about 2 years ago, I about went nuts from these jerks. I had repeated calls while I was on maternity leave during my 9th month, before I gave birth. They woke me while I was napping. I think they called a few times after I gave birth, when I was trying to nap with my little one after feeding him.
They wont take your name off. They call over and over about a house in another state I sold 4 years ago even though I have told them that and they have said they will take it off.
The called once earlier today according to my phone log. They called again when I was here and I answered. The female caller's only word was "Rebecca?". I said she had the wrong number. She said "Oh." I hung up the phone.
