Well, even after I posted last I continued to receive phone calls from this company. Vented on the registry, actually had these guys call me at past 8 in the evening one time. I did find out that the company I got my home loan with had released my personal information and if I wanted my personal information kept to myself then I had to call a phone number to get taken off the list. They don't tell you this until 6 months after the fact and hundreds of harassing phone calls later! Since I removed my personal information from any lists (that I know of at the moment), I have not received a call from the Mortgage Inv again. It's still a bunch of bull that I have to spell it out that I want my private info kept as that, private.
I received a call from Investor Mortgage during supper time on 7/13/09. When the lady started asking me information about my current mortgage I told them I was on the National "No Call" list. She said this is not a sales call, I would not try to sell you a mortgage on the phone. I said, I was not interested and to remove my number from their list, she continued with a sales pitch and I hung up. Today I was called again at noon...same company, same number, different lady. Same sales pitch..they want to sell me a lower rate mortgage.
Extremely ANNOYING!! Again, like everyone else, these people call several times a day, early morning to late evening. Last night was 9pm, and again this morning at 9am. I spoke with a guy named Michael and told him I wasn't interested; I asked to speak to a supervisor since I've asked numerous times at no avail to have them not continue to call. Supervisors name was John Freyer, who was such a jerk. He basically told me I was stupid if I didn't want to save money monthly. Plus, they insist on having someone come out to your home. This is definetly not a company to do any type of business with!! Esp. when they call potential (which I am not!) customers stupid!!! I have reported them to every consumer group out there!!
They have called several times. We recently purchased a new set of telephones by Panasonic. One cool feature it has is the ability to block numbers at the phone. It rings one time on my side and nothing else. It gives them (so the book says) a fast busy signal. If they call on other numbers I just block it the next time. Pretty cool.
You should have let them come out then had them arrested for trespassing. For some reason I think a company that persistant would not just take you shutting the door in their face especially if they came out to your home.
