They're not a bad company to work for, just out trying to make a living like the rest of us. Placed me with a pretty good USAF job. Sometimes they're hard to understand and they do sound like scammers but they're a job option. I ignored the recruiter for a week before I responded thinking it was a scam.

I still think it's funny that an overseas company would get these job contracts when our new focus is building the economy within our borders.

and despite the other guys experience, I'm not being timed or pushed -- if you can do the work, they have no problems with you.

I just got a cal from them, for 15 minutes trying to understand.  Then I finally figure out they are calling about a job at the FBI.  The FBI does not recruit for applicants thru third parties or any kind of agency.

But I stated that this call does not seem legit so I hang up.

I was scam just a few days ago, and I feel stupid as well, because I was looking for a job and gave my SS# and DOB, plus faxed over my updated resume.  I never felt so stupid, cause later when I tried to call to see if and when the position started I couldn't get a live person on the phone.  The website didn't even seem to match up with the job description they gave me.  What should I do!  My information is on the web and I just don't understand what I should do at this point. This is what I was sent.

I filled out an app for 22nd Century Technologies, and they called the next day.  English was not "Ron's" first language and he asked me for my DOB and SS# over the phone.  Of course, I didn't give it, telling him I wouldn't over the phone.  He then told me he was going to email me some paperwork - but I never received it.  He called looking for it, I missed the call and "Ron" never left a phone number.  I called the 906 # back and it's not professional at all.  I hate even that I have my resume out there now.  My home address, email... ugh.  WHAT A SCAM!!
