Git a call today from this company. The person barely spoke english. Asked if I was looking for employment, when I told her that I was not, she hung up up without so much as a thank you, sorry for bothering you, or do you know of anyone who is looking.
Got a call today from Victoria......not from America....lol. I applied for a radio/broadcasting position and let me know that the position was for UPS. She wanted to know if i was interested...said yes...to see where the conversation would go. She said she needed my DOB....i hesitantly gave it to her.....she then asked for by SSN for a background check.....I told her i would be willing to go on an interview and provide the employer by SSN but not her. She said she would follow up with an email. She did. Not going to respond. Oh Yea...i get 2k if i refer someone per her email.
A job with UPS in Livonia, right?! ha! I received an email yesterday from "Olivia Alden." I was suspicious because of the signature footer at the bottom of the email. Also, there are several misspellings; the wording is terrible, and I never heard of all of those "certifications." The web site seems legit, though, so I was almost ready to send my resume when I decided to Google the place. Good thing I did!
