A police society call to the best of my knowledge, but with a different twist. This one sounded like a real person, but when I said I had just been in the hospital it replied, "Glad to hear the good news. I'm pleased to hear it!!!" It appears they've got new software, but it doesn't seem to be working so well. I hung up as I can't stand all of these people calling up begging for money through my credit card which nobody should ever give out over the phone unless you initiate the call and you know exactly who you are speaking to.
*SCAMMER ALERT* - Block this #. This is definitely a scammer. Wanted my personal info., SS#, plus wanted me to send them money. Yeah ... right. lol. I blocked them. You should too.
Same. I tell them I do not donate over the phone, they need to send something in the mail and I will look at it and decide. Sending scams through the mail is a federal offence, legitimate people will do it.
