A police society call to the best of my knowledge, but with a different twist. This one sounded like a real person, but when I said I had just been in the hospital it replied, "Glad to hear the good news. I'm pleased to hear it!!!" It appears they've got new software, but it doesn't seem to be working so well. I hung up as I can't stand all of these people calling up begging for money through my credit card which nobody should ever give out over the phone unless you initiate the call and you know exactly who you are speaking to.
*SCAM ALERT* - This #, (774-205-8012), is definitely another idiot robo-calling SCAM! They call day & night relentlessly and hang up. Some of my family members have accidentally picked up the phone and they tried to scam them. (Even tried to scam a 5 year old. For shame on them!) One time they profess to be one type of company, the next day, they profess to be another type of company. Same # each time, but yet caller ID shows different companies. Long story short, they are just trying to find a way to scam people out of their hard earned dollars. I finally blocked them, but felt the need to report this number to save anyone else reading this a lot of hassle.
These people called just before 9:00 last night and woke my three week old daughter up. Caused us to BE UP ALL NIGHT!! Wanted a donation for some police charity.
Called and acted all chipper, asked me how I was doing, asked about my family. Then went into his spiel about representing the Florida State Fraternal Order of Police, blah, blah, blah. When he finished, I told him I had a tip on who broke into the Coke machine in front of the Walmart. He hung up on me LOL
