Male caller asked if he could pay by credit card. Since there was some odd background noise, I asked him what company he was with. Said Discovery Research Group and then wanted to speak with a manager.
So, I told him to sod off and blocked the number.
I would believe this number to be spoofed.
Just got a call from the same number I don't have any of those insurance but I did just go for an eye exam at a doctor in Oregon and went to get my glasses at Costco. I only use my cell phone so someone probably got it. I didn't answer and no message was left
Got calls from this number. I do not answer. Don't know anyone with this number. Each time they call they never leave a message. I figure must not be to important.
These people are annoying! Calling my cell 3 times a day, all from a different number. Call ID says they are from Pleasant Grove, Utah. I'm in Canada. They have no reason to be calling me.
Received a call yesterday, he asked to speak to me by full name. I asked who was calling, he said the name of a research & survey co., doing a survey about my last eye exam Doctor. I never actually said I was the person he wanted to speak to. He just started asking questions. His first question was if I was on a wireless or home phone, I asked what that had to do with an eye exam. His next question was "are you a licensed driver and if so do you currently drive". I again asked what that had to do with an eye exam ...he kind of stammered and said well I'm just asking the questions on behalve of you eye doctor. I then hung up. I'm on the government do not call list, but these companies get around that with surveys.
