I'm not behind on my home loan at all.  I have tried for over 9 months to get a loan mod from these people and they have switched my "One and only contact person" 5 times and keep asking for the same documents over and over after a few weeks.  They call every week and ask for the items I sent a week or month or even several months before.  They are the very definition of imcompetent.  They even check their records while I'm on the phone and realize they have already received the documentation requested and thenh ask for other documents.  I have a stack of documents the size of a phone book that I have sent them for the past 9 months and they are still asking for the same things.  I told them to forget it and they still call.  Screw Bank of America, I'm now doing my best to get my laon modified by another bank so they cannot get another cent.  The level of idiocy I have encountered with them is unbelievable and I cannot imagine how they stay in business.

Well after they receive bailout money from our tax dollars, they don't do what they are supposed to do with it. They only took the bailout money (all the major banks) so they can overpay their CEOs as usual. The middle and lower classes are left paying more taxes and footing the bill for these ppl. I have had medical bills, job loss, and going on military orders. This bank trains their workers to lie and not communicate. To manipulate you into paying money you do not have. Screw these dam banks and their darn bailout they are still receiving from our tax dollars. They can have it and enjoy it.

BOA called, and then hung up without a message.  I am current on my note for about 12 months, and do not meet their qualifications for HAMP or HARP.  I previously tried for almost a period of 2 years, faxed in 5000 pages that they subsequently lost or had me start over again multiple times.  They are a joke.  It was hell.

Can you believe they are calling me on a house they don't even own. They failed to do the Foreclosure after 3 years so the HOA took it from them for them not paying the HOA. Now they calling me about a modification on a house they don't even have. They should be calling the PMI Insurance that they refused to remove after the allotted time because the value of the home fell when the market fail.. We ask for a modification before we even got behind on the payments they said we had to be at least 3 months behind so after we ruined our credit to get this then they said the house didn't qualify. After the HOA took it then they offered us deferred first 100000.00 reduce the interest to 3% making the payments $450.00 for 30 years then the deferred amount would come back with the accumulated interest. We would be dead and still paying this loan so don't get your hopes up on a Modification either..

I didn't answer the phone. I never pick up unless the number was in my phone book. As it was calling I typed the number in the search and it came up Bank of America. I would like to share the ones that are having issues with this bank. Contact your local Attorney General Office. My husband and I have been working with them for 2 years now but going through the whole loan modification for 3 years.

Here is the site for IL http://illinoisattorneygeneral.gov/consumers/homeowners_help.html

Welcome to the Illinois Attorney General's
Help for Homeowners page. If you are behind in your mortgage payments, the materials on this page contain important information about the steps you should take to prevent foreclosure and avoid falling prey to foreclosure rescue scams. You may also contact the Attorney General's Homeowner Helpline at (866) 544-7151 to learn more about your options or to report a predatory mortgage lender.

Additionally, if you are in foreclosure, you should be aware that a new Illinois law requires mortgage lenders to provide homeowners with a notice of their legal rights and options when filing a foreclosure lawsuit. To review these rights and options, please see: Homeowners in Foreclosure: Know Your Rights.

This page also contains educational materials for consumers who are shopping for a home loan. Obtaining a mortgage is likely one of the most significant financial decisions you will make in your lifetime. Asking the right questions before you choose a loan can mean the difference between obtaining a loan you can afford and losing your home to foreclosure. Reviewing the materials below will help you to know the right questions to ask.
