Foreigner called wanting to talk about my windows computer. Haven't used windows since I was 10. Knew it was a scam call and hung up, blocked number and reported to FTC. DONT ANSWER! SCAM CALL!
I don't think it was Microsoft. They are a bit more professional. Here's a tip. Don't answer calls from numbers you don't know an NEVER give out a CC # over a phone.
ID said New Jersey. I didn't answer; no message. Looked it up on Spy Dialer and it pulled up the name Vinny. Man--Vinny from New Jersey...what a cliché! Glad I didn't pick up, based on comments here.
Got a call from a male of Middle Eastern Indian decent. Said he was calling from my computer. I just responded, "do not call me." "Call you?" "Do not call me." "Why not?" "You said you were calling from my computer and I do not have a computer. THIS IS A SCAM!" He hung up on me :(
Received a call from the same number but did not answer. Looked it up and saw all the negative content on this particular caller. Just wanted to add to the list that I received the call but did not answer.
