Foreigner called wanting to talk about my windows computer. Haven't used windows since I was 10. Knew it was a scam call and hung up, blocked number and reported to FTC. DONT ANSWER! SCAM CALL!
Asian caller telling me that my computer had been downloaded somewhere and when I told him i did not believe him he laughed and said, "quit wasting my time and get your computer" so I hung up. This is not the first time I have gotten a call from this number.
Just got a call from this joker. Thick Indian accent. Said he was calling about error messages coming from my computer. I interrupted him and asked who he was calling from. The "technical department ". I said what technical dept. Microsoft he says. I say your phone number is Cherry Hill NJ and there is no Microsoft office in Cherry Hill. He mumbled something and said he was in NY. I said I don't believe you. He gets angry and says are you going to listen to me? I say I'm listening. He says is your computer on? No, I say and it' s not going to go on. He says he is trying to help me . I say yeah, sure you are buddy and hang up. So far no call back.
Received call today to my home number. Said he was calling about my computer and that his company received notification that my server was down on several instances. I asked him what computer... I have 7 different computers in this house. He said "What? Really? Personal computers?" I responded that I'm sure this was "Bull----!" and told him "Do not call this number again!" I hung up on him.
He was difficult to understand due to accent but call cam from Cherry Hill, NJ 856-424-7354.
