Foreigner called wanting to talk about my windows computer. Haven't used windows since I was 10. Knew it was a scam call and hung up, blocked number and reported to FTC. DONT ANSWER! SCAM CALL!
Guy called my house today told me there was something wrong with my microsoft system. I dont him i didnt understnd what could be wrog and he said hed explain it... theb my house phone died... haha perfect timing. However my curiousity called back and it told me the person i was trying to call was no longer in service and starting asking me if i needed lower care insurance and it was transfering me to an agent with esurance. I stayed on the line until it disconnected with me... very very weird.
A woman with an accent said she was from Microsoft. I said I have an Apple computer. She said she still needed to talk to me. I said why don't I just give you my credit card account number right now. She said why would I need your credit card number? Then I hung up. I guess she just wanted access to my computer.
I received a call from an what sounded like a call center mentioning a crash report and a pic issue. I asked who he was calling from and he gave me a made up company na'me. It's a scam call. Hang up and block. I also am on do not call and received this
