Portfolio is a real company and not a scam. However, they are always being sued. Their practices are usually always in violation of the FDCPA laws. They use, like many do, skip tracing and old information. Oh look, here's a XYZ name, it may not be the real one they want and they do not care if its you or not.
So go after them.. don't hesitate to kick them to the curb! See Big 's and my posts on page one for the information to send them a C&D. Make sure you read the news article on them also.
Called 2 times on Sunday which I am sure is a felony from the same number and blocked 1 time could see the number but not the name. Will be talking with my legal staff about going after them. Its a company phone number they called.
