STOP CALLING! The dude that called had a little smart [***] mouth on him. When I answered this am , and asked whos calling , Then they said the name I said " NO ONE HERE BY THAT NAME" He just said you could have said that at the beginning of call to save him time. REALLY ! Please have these people STOP calling my #.
Please do not assume you owe *them* anything at all. If in the past, you failed to pay some big bank on a credit card, or some other business, they are the ones you owed the money to. Those big companies get to write that debt off. That means they remove it from their list of assess, just like if you sold your car -- you no longer have the car. (But you don't get a tax write-off for selling it.) But these high finance thieves, with the help of the Best Congress Money Could Buy, are allowed to take tax credits at the time they remove the debt from their assets, and *then* they are allowed to *sell* the debt they have already gotten tax breaks for erasing. THEN they get *another* tax credit for *selling* the debt that no longer exists, to bottom feeders like PRA for pennies on the dollar. PRA then inflates the amount of the original debt by a factor of 3 or 4, and begins harassing anybody to *pay* them. These vermin never verify that the debt is yours, or that you ever owed it at all.
It's Sunday, 4:00 pm and they called. I have plenty of room on my cell phone to add them to my call reject list. I have 12 numbers on the list now and will keep adding, they can eat s--t and bark at the moon for all I care!
