YES... I.e.: if you are on the national DNC registry, and an automated telemarketer keeps calling you, the best thing to do is have the state att'y general mail them a letter, and eventually this will actually scare them enough to stop calling.
I received a prerecorded call on my cell phone. Caller ID indicated an unknown caller at 860-216-2292. The company did not identify itself, but immediately launched into its car warranty spiel. As I was just turning onto the highway, I wasn't able to remain on the line and take further notes.
Received call but was unable to answer. Called them back within minutes and got busy signal. Searched the internet and found phone number listed as Orie Jenkins, Hartford, CT.
I don't know if is the real guy making this insurance calls
