YES... I.e.: if you are on the national DNC registry, and an automated telemarketer keeps calling you, the best thing to do is have the state att'y general mail them a letter, and eventually this will actually scare them enough to stop calling.
Call a call from this number at 6:44PM on 7/14, this is the third or forth time I've been called by this scam but always from different area codes. The scammer appears to spoof caller ID's, the number is always listed in google but is disconnected if you try to call back.

The call is a recorded message for car warranty made during the middle of a weekday. My cell showed ID as number below. I have been getting this call 5 to 10 times in the last month. Calls also from 800-815-9907 similar issue at almost the same time, likely related to same person/company.
