YES... I.e.: if you are on the national DNC registry, and an automated telemarketer keeps calling you, the best thing to do is have the state att'y general mail them a letter, and eventually this will actually scare them enough to stop calling.
Trying to sell auto warranty.Alway say this is your last call but when asked not to call again they hangup.This must be the dumbest person in the world or just plain ignorant telemarketeer.
Received a call from an automated system claiming to be able to extend my auto warranty. The call was to my cell during the day so I was charged for the call. I did not know about this number so I hit option 1 to speak to an operator. On hold for two minutes. Hung up and when I tried to call back my office phone would not even acknowledge the phone number. Calling from my cell phone the message was that the number was disconnected. Shouldn't the white collar crimes unit of the FBI be able to handle this?
