I purposely got Caller ID along with service to prevent blocked calls but some how this number comes through..860-724-0641 and its says "Privacy Manager" on the Caller ID. They sit silently on the phone. I am pretty fed up with this nonsense and paying my stupid phone company for something I don't want to allow come through on my phone but does come through.
just called it back...no answer...I'd love to see who actually is making these calls...The message said that when I hang up the phone there will be another call right after this and they will leave a message or some stupid crap...Seems to be different everytime...
I just got two calls in a row from this number. The first said Privacy Manager; the second said Take A Message. The second time they left about 1 second of garbled, unintelligible message.
The cure? *60 (Call Blocking) #01# to add the last number that called, even if you don't know it, then hang up. Uh, this might be AT&T features only.
