Got a call today from this number. They caught me in the middle of cleaning so I didn't have a pen and paper handy to write down the number I'm suppose to call. The recorded message said that it was in attempt to collect a debt. I don't have any debt or atleast not any I'm not current on paying! So, I hit #1 to be connected directly to a "Customer Service Agent" and the phone went dead. My caller ID said it was from Texarkana TX?
Does anyone have any idea what kind of debt they are trying to collect for?

this number calls about 2x's a week starting about a month ago, does not leave a message. another number 954-975-0036 calls and leave messages about medical supplies
This number (870-216-4090) continues to call my cell phone and leave a partial number where I'm supposed to call back ...........very annoying! I've learned to just automatically send it to voice mail, but that gets costly always having to retrieve that call for only 1/2 a message.
This is West Asset Management. They call on behalf of accounts turned over to collections. In my case, Qwest Communications turned over my phone bill to them for collections even though I had continued to make payments through Qwest. If any of you have had an account past due, West Asset Management handles the collections end for companies not wanting to manage these.
