Got a call today from this number. They caught me in the middle of cleaning so I didn't have a pen and paper handy to write down the number I'm suppose to call. The recorded message said that it was in attempt to collect a debt. I don't have any debt or atleast not any I'm not current on paying! So, I hit #1 to be connected directly to a "Customer Service Agent" and the phone went dead. My caller ID said it was from Texarkana TX?
Does anyone have any idea what kind of debt they are trying to collect for?

We have been receiving two calls a day from 870-216-4090 for a couple of weeks now. There is never a live person on the other end if the call is answered and they never leave a message if we let the machine pick it up. This is very annoying!
As I don't have any debt in collection, I called West Asset Management at 888-433-2886 to let them know they have the wrong cell phone number. The person I spoke to told me they would remove my cell phone number from their file.
This is the third collection agency I have had to deal with since getting this cell phone number in April, and all three have been very cooperative once they realize that I am not the person they are looking for.

I finally called the number given and asked them to stop. They repeatedly said they would have my number taken off the list but did not. The individuals who answer returned calls work out of their homes as contractors. The computers dial the number and leave a message with a number to call back. The individuals were very rude. Finally, I stopped getting the calls --for about two months. However, They have now started again. I have gotten 10 calls over the past 2 days.
My previous comment left the wrong phone number and I could not edit it.
