Rang twice and hung up. No message or caller ID. i tried to cancel the delivery because they charge about %10 more than local pharmacies. That amounted $130 extra for two prescriptions. I thought mail order was supposed to save you money. Why did Express Scripts buy them? It looks like a way to gouge clients without any benefits other than revenue for an unneeded layer of management.
I haven't used Accredo in years, and yet they kept on trying to call me, wanting to update my information. I told them to quit calling that I haven't used their pharmacy in years. Very unprofessional.
Accredo is a specialty Drug pharmacy that handles certain types of medications for Express Scripts. This comes via your medical insurance through a company you may be working for.
This company is a joke. I receive calls daily and now I'm getting letters in the mail saying my prescription request has been denied. they have already shipped the script and I have already begun treatment. I emailed their customer service and have had to explain to them three times that a) the script was already sent, b) you already have the doctor's approval, c) there are no refills, it's a one time thing and d) there is no need to keep calling me . Today, I received an email back that the person on the other end FINALLY realized what I was talking about so what does he do? Cancels the script that my doctor sent "per your request". I never requested anything of the sort. I asked them to stop calling me. Now, since he cancelled it, I'll probably get billed for the whole thing. I swear, this must be another one of those places who outsource customer service to India or something because they certainly don't understand English
