Why the heck would you even think of talking to SCUM like them? no computer company would call you like that. wake up! why would you even have a conversation with them? if you wondered about the call tell them to call later when your husband is home. but what you should have done, using your (brain?) was to hang up. obviously you have not been on this earth that long to realize this crap goes on 24/7 wake up and smell the roses. you were lucky you did nothing.
Did you pay for a service to call you when you get a virus?? That would be the only time a tech would call you about a virus on your computer. Microsoft has free antivirus software built into Windows 8 (they didn't before Windows 8)..... so if you have Windows 8 then you have antivirus protection which means if you did have a virus, you wouldn't need a technician to call you and tell you, your computer would let you know the moment the virus was detected. Plenty of free antivirus programs out there, too.... Panda antivirus is a good one.... I use Norton (not free) religiously and have not had a virus for over a decade! And I'm on the internet for hours every day.
Just received a call from a man with a strong Indian accent, said his name was Daniel,lmfao. I work for a large corporation with a proprietary operating system with a large IT department. I laughed at his name,Daniel, and asked if he was new to our department. Line died instantly, bye bye " Daniel" lol
