Why the heck would you even think of talking to SCUM like them? no computer company would call you like that. wake up! why would you even have a conversation with them? if you wondered about the call tell them to call later when your husband is home. but what you should have done, using your (brain?) was to hang up. obviously you have not been on this earth that long to realize this crap goes on 24/7 wake up and smell the roses. you were lucky you did nothing.
Call from (901) 411-6787 at 2:00pm Saturday, 2/14/15. Unknown caller ID Tennessee. Caller stated he was from Microsoft Windows and said I needed to turn on my computer immediately so he could fix it, as it was infected from the Internet. Heavy Indian accent. I told him Microsoft does not call people, and I was going to report him.
VERY thick accent asked for the owner of the home computer. I had this call before a year ago..so I said I didn't have a computer and they needed to try it on someone else. They hung up.
Saw on the news yesterday where some bank employees opened attachments from unknown emailers. That's how the hackers got access to millions...COME ON PEOPLE! PLEASE wise up and be careful!
Called twice today. Second time I answered. Guy with an Indian accent said he was calling from Windows regarding my computer. I asked if he was joking. I informed him that "Windows" doesn't call customers about their computers and I called him a scammer. He tried to protest, asking why I thought he was a scammer, but I just informed him to remove my number from his calling list and hung up. After reading these comments I'm glad I did.
