Called numerous times on previous days. Called this a.m. @ 8 a.m. & tried to reject number only to find out its a landline and for an extra charge my cell phone carrover would block the call for me. He called back a little later and I got the same spiel as everyone else. Finally got him to stop.talking long enough to tell him NOT to call me again. He said "Ok" and HE hung up on me!! Will 'watch' and see if he calls again..
Same call about problems with my computer. Caller couldn't identify IP. Asked caller if they were a lying #%&*ing B@$^*. They seemed unhappy with the question and hung up.Posting these telemarketing numbers has made answering the phone so much more enjoyable.
Typically scam to get you to pay for virus removal. They will have you run a program that will report all kinds of virius that is actually a BS script program and then will give you the speel that they can remove those virius remotely. They will then ask for your credit card and have you pay $200 plus to me remove. Don't fall for this. Microsoft or Dell will not call you for this. Hear a person from India you can mess with them which I love to do and then tell oh yeah I don't have a Windows machine I am running a Mac with IOS 10.
Got a call today from this same number 904-220-1183. Heavy indian accent....was windows tech support he said....said he had my device ID. This is a scam! DO NOT give them any info!
He got more anxious as I asked him more questions.....finally I just hung up.
