Called numerous times on previous days. Called this a.m. @ 8 a.m. & tried to reject number only to find out its a landline and for an extra charge my cell phone carrover would block the call for me. He called back a little later and I got the same spiel as everyone else. Finally got him to stop.talking long enough to tell him NOT to call me again. He said "Ok" and HE hung up on me!! Will 'watch' and see if he calls again..
I probably should clarify: We don't presently have a call blocker at the office, so my only option is to ignore suspicious calls or calls on my list of known telemarketers and such. At home, I actively block these types of calls.
I go along with the computer scam and when they ask me if my computer is on, I tell them have to go downstairs to turn it on. I ask them if they can hold on. I then just leave the phone off the hook. after about ten minutes I hear them asking, Hello are you there, are you there?
Sometimes I continue playing with them keeping them on as long as I can while I go about my business.
I got five calls in two days from what I think was the same person. I kept stalling him and ended it by telling him I had an Apple Computer
Microsoft technology support. Foreign speaking. I interrupted him and said I had no computer and he hung up. Got another call today but they have been blocked.
Call came from that same Canadian Scammer that calls every year about microcrap support just hang up on his butt he just wants to enter a virus into your computer then ask for $499 to have it removed which it never is because all he does is turn it OFF leaves it installed
