Called numerous times on previous days. Called this a.m. @ 8 a.m. & tried to reject number only to find out its a landline and for an extra charge my cell phone carrover would block the call for me. He called back a little later and I got the same spiel as everyone else. Finally got him to stop.talking long enough to tell him NOT to call me again. He said "Ok" and HE hung up on me!! Will 'watch' and see if he calls again..
poor indian wanted me to open my windows computer, I asked him which one as I have windows on all four sides of my house! I managed to string him on for 8 minutes 47 seconds before HE hung up on me! How many other calls to you think I stopped him from making?
I'd be more concerned about how many more you may be getting since you answered the call. The crook may not have cheated you out of any money, financial or personal info, or ransacked your computer, but he did get a live voice. That means he can resell it and have other spammers and con artists bothering you more. No kind of answer means the same thing for the caller, who may get tired of messing with your number.
