Stephen just called me. He's at a web hosting company called One and One (telling me it's the "largest in the world", which could be). He is calling attendees to the Javits Center (NYC) small business conference held in November 2011 with a deal to charge $29.99 a month as a free trial. They'll take the place of my current web hosting company, plus for another $10 per month to do a "SEO" service.
To me, "SEO services" for an extra $10 a month is just plain silly (more so that he had no idea what that entailed). I explained how I'm unlikely to give up my website to a company that calls and calls and hangs up. Then he hung up again. I'm sure they'll call back.
constantly receiving calls from this number, which no messages are left and when I do answer there is no one on the other end....this is annoying, if you try to return the call, it goes to a voice recording saying you've reached our customer service and tells you to leave your name, company's name etc., ....but what about their name, I have yet to the name of this company that constantly calls !!!!
Same by me i get a phone call every single day in the beginning he use to say, sorry i got the wrong number but lately they just call and don't hear anyone talking and after few seconds they hang up. anymore info what this is about ?
This guy calls my office and wants to speak to the person in charge of our century link account. I say I work here and I dont have the idea about my owner. Then he says his company is partnering with century link to make sure we are getting all our services and are not paying for things we don't need. I asked him to briefly leave me a message and let owners know about this. He says your telephone lines need to be updated as there is price increase next month. I said I pass this message to the owner and ask them to call back to the same number starting with 904-701-0308.He says it is his direct number so asked me to call 1-877-315-9717. I decided not to call. Know I know I dont want to be a fool infront of my boss after reading these replies here.
