We don't even have credit cards. When it asked to push 1 to be transferred to a representative, I did so and simply said, "How do I get removed from your call list?"...they hung up. I called back and got a recording that said, "Thank you for calling back. To be removed from this list press 1 (again) which I did. I do not expect to stop receiving these calls. If anyone knows what I need to do to get them to stop, I'm all over it.
Have received numerous calls from this company. (Teclo is what my caller ID shows) I finally answered, because I wanted to make them stop! Like others, I punched "1" to speak with someone. A guy came on, and I asked him if I had a credit card with them, and he hung up! Just received another to which there was no reply on the other end. So frustrating! How can I block their number from calling me??
here's my problem. its waking us up, at all hours...my husband goes into work at TWO AM, and therefore sleeps mid day. I run a daycare, My children sleep in the afternoon. My friends and family do not call during these hours, or they use my celphone. this last weekend, 8:02AM, after the worst week in my history, we lost our dog suddenly, spent most of the week crying and trying to heal, and on the ONE morning we get to sleep in, and we dont have to work, 8:02 AM they call, AGAIN! So "ignoring" them doesnt work. I've received over 50, probably closer to 100 calls from them in the past month or a little more, sometimes 5-6 times a day. I just got off the phone with my phone company, COMCAST, and *60 is a call blocking service, I get up to 12 numbers before I have to pay a fee. So i suggest to anyone reading this, contact your phone company and see if they offer this too. I have reported to the DoNotCall, but not sure what that will do. my phone actually SPEAKS who is calling, so the ringtone thing is a cool idea, but i know from across the room who is calling, but they are not only breaking the DO Not Call rules, but they are calling WAY before allowed for telemarketers or bill collectors, which is between 9-9 daily. BUT like I said, my husband goes into work at 2AM, so by 2PM, he's sleeping. that may be deemed "appropriate calling hours" but here, it isnt.
Got 3 calls from these people in the last 3 days. They hung up on you if you tell them not to call you. Reported them to the FCC. Please do the same to get rid of them.
