Caller ID was "FINANCIAL CTR". Message left was about: "reducing credit card interest rates to as little as 6% if I owe at least $3000 and one card is in good standing."
This number is repeated calling me. I am on the do not call registry. I decided to try to talk to them about it and they hung up. How can the public ever be protected from this garbage?
These people have been calling my home at least 5 times a day and of course leave no message. I am registered on the National Do Not Call Registry also. I finally answered the umpteenth call from today and some mumbling dumbass picked up. I couldn't understand a single thing he said and told him so. I asked him to repeat and got a long suffering sigh at which point he hung up on me. I hope you get to read these messages you arrogant prick. F@$% YOU, F@$% YOU, F@$% YOU! Of course they will call here again within 23 hours. If I'm still pissed off enough, I will pick up, tell whoever answers to F@$% OFF, give a long suffering sigh and hang up. I hope your scam tanks and you go to hell with it!
I get numerous calls almost everyday, I just don't pick up the phone unless I know who the person calling is. If it's block, unknown, private, etc, it goes to the answering machine. I can sometimes hear background noise, so I know someone is there, they don't say anything and after a few seconds they hang up. If you are expecting a call from someone, just let them start to leave a message and once you know who it is, pick it up. There are so many scammers and dishonest people out there, it's better that you never pick up their calls.
Received call on 07/11/2012 @ 1752 on my cell phone. Do not call lists do not stop these guys b/c you can't trace their phone number without having court orders or spend money to those companies that claim to find out who owns the companies. I just wish the FCC would do its job and sue the crap out of the person that signs up the phone numbers and make some way the public could freely obtain the companies information so that we can goto small claims court and sue these jerks out of existence.
