Caller ID was "FINANCIAL CTR". Message left was about: "reducing credit card interest rates to as little as 6% if I owe at least $3000 and one card is in good standing."
These idiots call both cell phones and land lines. They try to make you believe they are the ones who actually are the people who actually service all of the credit cards you have. Once they drag everything out of you except your pin # or the code on the back of the card, they transfer you to someone who informs you that you have to pay several hundred dollars in order to get a reduced interest rate (basically they are combining your debt and setting up a load - at least that is what they SAY) At that point I told them where they could put it, and put an alert on all my cards. All cards were deactivated immediately before they could use them, but be forewarned, they are no good at all. probably offshore scammers. Not all online stores require more than the card number and expiration date, so they can charge all cards up to the hilt!
