Both I and my assistant got calls from these scum, 2 hours apart on our cel phones (which were also registered on the do not call list) claiming that they're a travel company and we had signed up for a sweepstakes with them. Nope, losers. Banned.
Caller alleges I won travel with Norwegian. Said his name was John Smith (how creative!). Wanted to verify my marital status and income. When I pressed him for details. He hung up. Sounds like a scam since I haven't signed up for anything.
Called at 0848 AM -Didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number. Entered the number on line and here I am! My number is on the Do Not Call list but I still get these nuisance calls.
Rep had heavy accent, could hear lots of background noise, like a call center. Told I had won a vacation, that I had signed up for contest 9 months ago, rep explained that I would be responsible for paying taxes on trip, but all I had to do to claim prize was visit local office, but that I was under no obligation to buy.....right!
