Both I and my assistant got calls from these scum, 2 hours apart on our cel phones (which were also registered on the do not call list) claiming that they're a travel company and we had signed up for a sweepstakes with them. Nope, losers. Banned.
I had just received this call 9/30/15, she had a thick accent and sounded very unprofessional, she never mentioned a company name but just her name and asked me how am I, I immediately asked her what company she was calling from and I couldn't understand what name she said, she claimed that I signed an application for something, I told her that I haven't been to Dallas in over five years.. then she insisted that i signed an application inside a mall or a Walmart.. I never give out any information to any place other than stores that offer rewards. Then she insisted that it was a long time ago and I forgot. I made a thinking sound and I said "nope, I never signed anything like that" and she said "miss, you forgot.... But you won" she said and she paused for a second as if waiting for a reaction. I said "well you might want to call someone else because I'm not interested" I heard her say something then I hung up before she could finish her sentence. I'm usually a nice person with telemarketers because I understand it's their job sometimes, but when unprofessional scammers call I sometimes have fun making them uncomfortable or I'm just plain rude for trying to suck out my money illegally.
My one "day off" and this stupid thing rings my phone 8am waking me and my 2 yr old. I answer and the idiot hangs up. Now she's up asking for everything and I could have enjoyed one day sleeping in for once. Called them back for a good verbal lashing but the line stays busy.
Same as everyone else, called my wife's phone last night, very hard to understand, said she signed up for something which of course she didn't. Then called my number this morning. When you try to call it back you get a busy signal.
