Both I and my assistant got calls from these scum, 2 hours apart on our cel phones (which were also registered on the do not call list) claiming that they're a travel company and we had signed up for a sweepstakes with them. Nope, losers. Banned.
I just received a call from this number on my cell phone. I answered and there was silence on the other end. So, I hung up and put the number into Google. I found this list of other's experiences with this number.
Same as above, called at 7:45 this morning, won a prize from a contest I entered several months ago. This is the third number that has called this month, all wil 972 area code, (972-384-2582, 972-994-6717) all with the same script, they call cell and landline about 45 minutes apart.
I did not answer, no message was left. I have also gotten calls from 972-994-6717, same as the previous poster. That one I answered and sounded like the others have described here: a busy room, John, far away and heavily accented. Etc. etc.
