SCAM. Caller told me that I filled out a form a while back and I won a 7-night all expense paid Norwegian cruse he just needed to verify my info and give him a credit card number for a security deposit.   First he called me on my work phone that I would never have used for this type of thing, secondly when I was playing along he did not have my age correct, and then he asked me for my address to verify it with what he had in the system, I told him that it has not changed in over 20 years so it should be right.  He instated on me verifying my address, so I told him to tell me what he had and I would let him know if it was correct.  He said he could not do that for privacy reasons.....CLICK.

Do not fall for this SCAM.

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone, which is on Do Not Call list, so I reported them. I did not answer. The call came in on Saturday, 9:45am on the weekend. Weekend, really?  Aarrgh!!

Yup, SCAM! Heavy accent person claiming I won a vacation that I applied for a long time ago. I hope no one is stupid enough to believe these scums.

Very thick accent.  I told him to speak englich.  He said he could speak spanish, and I told him I didn't speak spanish, and since he couldn't speak english, he needed to go away.  And, I hung up on him.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.
