Today's story was this person who could barely speak English was calling from "The Treasury Department in Washington, DC." They knew my name but called me "Mr. (first name)." He hung up when I started hurling epithets.
Number blocked - for all the good it will do.
Called trying to say they were from Microsoft and needed to get into my computer because of a virus. I said they were liars and they said fine you will never be able to use your computer again.
Robo call informing me that my debit card was locked and to press 1 for assistance. I hung up. They also identified the financial institution associated with my debit card.
