Like other callers, I got a call from this number at night, claiming that my computer was at risk and about to crash. I refuted and said, nope my computer is fine and do not call again, to which the guy claimed it was 'his civic duty' to help me. LOL! The number is getting reported now. That's terrible.
Same as above, heavy indian accent saying he was calling from microsoft and their severs had received information that my computer was infected. I asked if it was their servers all the way in India and he hung up. Proved it was another scam.
Caller, with Indian accent, claims to be from Microsoft Technical Department and that your computer has been infected with unwanted software. I am/was an IT Admin Been in computers for 30 years. I told him he needed to learn to speak English and hung up. He called back I told him I had the call recorded and was going to give the info to the FCC. The line went dead. I called it a prank call but in reality it was a SCAM CALL. Microsoft will not contact you is this manner.
Used the name of Fred Wilson with a very heavy Indian (east) accent that our computer was having problems and to go to 'this' address to Microsoft for help. Then hung-up.
