Like other callers, I got a call from this number at night, claiming that my computer was at risk and about to crash. I refuted and said, nope my computer is fine and do not call again, to which the guy claimed it was 'his civic duty' to help me. LOL! The number is getting reported now. That's terrible.
Received a call from this number today (Port Moody, BC) with a man with a South Asian accent asking for Mr or Mrs. so-and-so of the house (he had a last name right). I said, "yes". He said that there is a problem with the computer at this location. I laughed and said, "Oh my god! Are you serious?" and he hung up. Obvious scam attempting to extort money (common scam).
Have reported this number to the CRTC.
The call display had the name "Mary".
daily receive phone calls from this number. I finally answered to have me removed from their list, but when I picked up the phone, dead silent. Now I know from previous posts, this is bogus. SO, I will no longer answer this number.

The guy told me to take his "help" or he would keep calling back. That was after I told him to take me off the call list. It got pretty heated and he eventually told me to "go to hell" and hung up. I have to admit it was kind of fun but I don't want him calling back. He's called multiple times. This was the first time I answred.
