Like other callers, I got a call from this number at night, claiming that my computer was at risk and about to crash. I refuted and said, nope my computer is fine and do not call again, to which the guy claimed it was 'his civic duty' to help me. LOL! The number is getting reported now. That's terrible.
I have been receiving calls from this number for a couple of months now. They sometimes call me more than once a day. It's always a guy saying something about my PC being infected with a virus. I've asked to be put on their no call list, and he hangs up on me. Now when he calls the first thing I say is, "I don't own a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Do not call me again, take me off your list", and he just hangs up. I don't know why they continue to call, but it's annoying.
they've been calling often - called ID always just says "out of area" - if I answer, there's never anyone there. They called 4 times yesterday and the last time was at 10:30 pm and woke us. How do I stop this?
Been receiving calls from this number and today the dude threatened to cut my throat. Called Centurylink and police to report, will record all future calls. The number that shows up on caller id is bogus. Centurylink has a feature you have to activate to block specific numbers hope this works.
