Like other callers, I got a call from this number at night, claiming that my computer was at risk and about to crash. I refuted and said, nope my computer is fine and do not call again, to which the guy claimed it was 'his civic duty' to help me. LOL! The number is getting reported now. That's terrible.
I've been receiving calls from this number recently as well, haven't answered and don't plan to. It's interesting that I also received an email mentioning something about Microsoft. If this is legitimate why do they not leave a message, go figure.
This guy had called back over and over even knows our address and name we told them to take me off your computer call list. Hung up and called back . They know where we live this is scary asked to speak to a supervisor and it was the same guy saying his name was Peter Parker my husband laughed said how u doing Spider-Man told them we do not want u to call us threaten to show up and take our computers. What do we do ?! Centrylink is closed to try to block the number. My husband has two degrees in computers he started saying things they drew a blank .
Called once and it went to voicemail. VM was background noise, then *click*. They tried calling back again so I googled the number. I rarely pick up phone calls I don't know, even if I recognize the area code.
I activated the *60 service from centurylink, it takes a working day m-f to turn it on. once active entered the number as directed and I haven't had a call ring through from them since. I blocked 3 numbers so far and it's just about wiped out all the calls on the land line.
