I got a call from a guy calling himself Officer Steven Smith, he told me I needed to call him back or have my attorney call him back. I thought it was just a prank and ignored the calls. I got about 7 in a row. I called him and he went on with some bullcrap about I owed US National Bank 500.00. I knew I did not so I told him he was a lier and hung up. Then he calls again and my daughter answers the phone and he tells her that I'm going to be arrested and we are in danger. It took a lot of convincing for me to get my child to believe this was a scam. The law was suppose to come pick me up he said in two days, Its been 60 and I'm still waiting for the law. I dare he scare my child like this, he can kiss my double cheeks but when you mess with my child you have to pay. He will pay, sooner or later, he will get whats due him.
EVERYONE BEWARE, DON'T SEND THIS DEVILS ANY MONEY. TELL THEM TO SHOVE IT!. Report them to the Police, FTC, BBB, Secret Service and your state's attorney general
Something Jones, background noise, thick, Indian or whatever accent, time sensitive matter, if I don't call back, will pray for me and my family. Little do they know I don't have any family left. Something needs to be done about this. They call my cell and home and work. I have no clue who they are and don't really care. I just care about them having the phone numbers, probably sold by some other crap company. What is this world coming to? These people are bottom feeders, but they don't seem to care, so that tells us what they think of themselves as persons...
i HAVE RECEIVED THE SAME PHONE CALL FROM 201-234-4071. THEY HAVE CALLED MY JOB AND TOLD ME I WAS GOING TO BE ARRESTED AND WHAT NOT. DO NOT BELIEV THIS BECAUSE I ASKED ALL KINDS OF QUESTIONS WHICH THE PERSON ACTED LIKE THEY DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY I WAS LAUGHING AT THEM I KNEW IT WAS A SCAM, FIRST THERE WAS ALOT OF NOISE IN THE BACKGRUND. WHAT LAWYERS OFFICE IS GOING TO HAVE THAT. BOGUS! BECAUSE I CAN NOT EVEN GET A LOAN. BUT YES THEY HAVE LAST 4 OF SOCIAL AND WHAT NOT. BUT THEY CAN NOT DO MUCH. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. JUST HANG UP ON THEM AND TELL YOUR JOB IF THEY DO NOT SOUND LIKE FLUENT SPEAKING AMERICANS YOU DO NOT WORK THERE ANYMORE.
Got the same call, same threats, wishing me luck if I didn't respond immediately and making threats if I didn't. EXTREMELY noisy in the background, THICK indian accent...only difference is it was a different number (based on all the other blogs apparently this is part of their game too, changing their number frequently). The number they called from showed up as unavailable but the number they left was 201-234-2071. When I called back they answered "Hello"(in a very thick indian accent), last I checked legitimate businesses didn't answer the phone like that.
I received a phone call from thes Scam Artist on 5/26/2009. I had filled
out a payday loan application that was denied, I will Never Put my Info
over the Internet again. 2 Hours these Scam Artist Were calling me, saying That They were taking me to court for an Old PayDay Loan that I
did not pay off on 5/8/2008. I did not take in any loans out in over 6
years, and the ones that were taken out were paid off.I reported them to
the FTC.
I had this number call me multiple of times and claimed they were a law firm for National Payday Advances,and they told me that I had taken out a loan and did not pay it back and that if I did not pay them over the phone someone would be by my house to arrest me. I then called my local law enforcment and the North Carolina SBI (State Bureau Investigations) they instructed me to call 1-800-334-3000 to report it, now thats if you only live in North Carolina. If you live in other states you need to report it to your state Department Of Justice.
