So I have an account on care.com for dog walking service and got a text message from this number asking met to email her sister who is looking for a dog walker. I emailed and got a response that was very detailed and basically saying they wanted to hire me to walk there two dogs when they moved to this area. They would send a cashier check ahead of time as the dogs might get there before they do and so on.... Well I'm thankfully aware of scams like this and hope this helps someone make the decision that it's to good to be true and they are scamming you for money. Even if your bank accepts the check about 7 days later it will deny it and your bank account can be negative by thousands of dollars. They will try everything to get you to send them money as fast as possible because of this. Be aware! You work hard for your money, don't let people do this to you!!!
The woman had strong Indian accent and said she was calling about my Windows Computer, I told her I didn’t have a computer and she argued back with me that I did using my name. I asked her for a number that I can reach her back at and she ignored my question and insisted that I had a computer and that I was getting fraud on my computer, etc. I waited until she was done and asked her again for her number, she gave me 901-290-7309 I asked for her name, she said Kate, Then I asked who she is representing and she said Windows Explode Tech, although I had to ask her to repeat it again as it was very hard to understand her accent. I said thank you and told her i would be in touch then hung up.
