So I have an account on care.com for dog walking service and got a text message from this number asking met to email her sister who is looking for a dog walker. I emailed and got a response that was very detailed and basically saying they wanted to hire me to walk there two dogs when they moved to this area. They would send a cashier check ahead of time as the dogs might get there before they do and so on.... Well I'm thankfully aware of scams like this and hope this helps someone make the decision that it's to good to be true and they are scamming you for money. Even if your bank accepts the check about 7 days later it will deny it and your bank account can be negative by thousands of dollars. They will try everything to get you to send them money as fast as possible because of this. Be aware! You work hard for your money, don't let people do this to you!!!
Just got a call from that number. A male with indian an accent pretending that my windows 10 update is unable to proceed because of malicious file on my computer. he asked me if was currently online, then i hang up on him at that point.
2013748004 called me after I just got back home from spending a week in the hospital Witt my four year old who almost died from viral pneumonia which I have now contracted. He had a very thick accent and said he was from miscrosoft and wanted wireless access to my home computer I told him that my computer was off and has been for uears and there was no possible way in hell that I was following a Damn direction he gave and if he didn't like it he could take his own computer and stick.it.up his [***]. Then hung up I swear if he calls again I'm gonna tell him my address and let him hear me loading my ar-15 then say I'm waiting on u [***] bc if u call again and wake up my recovering 4 year old I'll have a new plack with a new species of animal to sport over my fireplace.
These people are just a scam. Few months ago I took this call and they claimed they were to fix my computer, i let them on my computer by remote access if you call it. Stupid mistake. At first there were going to places to fix it then once I saw them mousing over my private folders like pictures and documents I instantly got back control and disconnected. They had the same accent and claimed to be from Windows. After some investing Windows will not call you if you have problems on your pc. I don't answer calls from 1800...anymore cause its all scam calls. Hope this helps everybody.
