I received a phone call with an automated message claiming that the IRS was filing losses against me. I called the number back. The background noise was very loud and I could hear another person saying "unless you make a payment now" in the background. I spoke with a man and he asked me which telephone number I called him from. I gave it to him while I told him several times I couldn't hear him and that it sounded like I was on speaker. I have been in contact with the IRS and it definitely was nothing like this. The number that came up was (202)831-1035 Washington DC. I hung up the phone, as I thought this was not a professional manner of the IRS.
I just got the same call he said i was going to jail for two years cuz i owed 4,000 but i could pay 700 right now n dat indo guy got mad when i asked him if he was a scamer . He told me i hv to pay 700 now so i could get information on dis . N he treated me n said I'll show u how iam in 30 minutes. I hvnt work since 2006 cuz in 2007 i had a amurisum. N dat was the last time i did my taxes . Sorry [***] people.
They did the same thing to me. I asked what years this was for. He said 2012-2015. It was had not to laugh when I asked him how could I owe taxes if I haven't filed since 2007 since I haven't worked since 01/2007 because of 9 back surgeries I had in 21 months. He put me on hold and came back on and said it was a penalty for not filing. I told him that the IRS sent me a letter in 2009 because I filed a 2008 return but I didn't need to because I was on social security disability and I didn't go over the max limit or something like that, but basically my income received was not taxable. He cussed me out and said he was sending the police fo arrest me. I told him to be sure to tell the popo to send a van with a wheelchair lift because it is to hard to put everything in a car. He hung up mad. LOL
