Received a call today from this number also. Also sounded like a middle-eastern man on a fuzzy line. Asked for a person who, as far as I know, has never had our phone number (although we've received wrong calls for her in the past).
We received a call from this same phone number today. Holy Cow!!! Asked if I was here, and I said "no here by this name." I asked him to take me off of this calling list, and he proceeded to say "F You, F You, F You, F You...." and kept saying it. Once he stopped (I listened quietly), I again said "take me off of this list." He said, "Call you back?" I said "no." He kept saying, "Call you back later? Call you back every second?" I had a hard time getting him off of my phone. What is this about?
I get a call from this number at least once every two days. Most of the time they don't leave a message. When they do leave a message a female recording talks about lowering interest rate, and to press one to talk to a representative. I just ignore them because I closed of all my credit cards within the last year.
JUST got a call from this number on my cell phone. Male voice, heavy accent, asks for me; instead of identifying myself, I ask who is calling. The man says: "This is Gary [somebody} from the U.S. Government Department." and I say "WHAT???!!" -- repeats that he is Gary somebody from U.S. Government Deparment. SO I ask "And what are you calling about?" he mumbles something or another, and then fades away, so I hung up the phone. This is crazy! How do you report this to the appropriate authority?????
