Firms promising to call me back yesterday ( DFAS who owes my minor child $19,175 and hung up on me Twice yesterday). Last time I talked to usaa via third party, they screwed up my insurance policy on my New car. They removed the Rental and Towing rider ( I'd had since 1989), then six months later a 17 yo ran a stop sign and knocked the front end off my new $44,000 Chrysler 300C. I had to pay for a rental car for over two months and towing. The kid got a reckless driving ticket and driving without license plates. I couldn't work for awhile from two disc issues, black eye, bruised chest which hurt to raise my hands ( required by job) and I still haven't recovered a dime. USAA left my car at the towing truck lot for 10 days before I found out it hadn't been towed to the mechanic I designated. USAA did cover the $15,000 of repair, although a piece of trim fell off last week. Bottom line. Don't talk to the USAA idiots on the phone. I originally told term to remove my Pontiac and Add my brand nee Chrysler 300C and not change any coverage options. The idiot girl then Removed my rental and towing options is had forever and then usaa wouldn't honor that coverage causing an extra $2,300 of expense from a wreck Not My Fault and I haven't recovered a dime yet. ONLY DEAL WITH USAA IN WRITING EITHER ONLINE OR SNAIL MAIL. AND DOUBLE CHECK YOUR POLICY. PS this same number has called me as I'm walking up the steps to Church at 9:50 am Sunday morning. Heathens.
